Northboro Southboro Youth Football and Cheer is committed to the safety of all our athletes. Our coaches are trained in the latest safety protocol, and go above and beyond with their own training as coaches and how we teach our young athletes.

All of our coaches are certified and trained in the following safety courses:

  • CDC Heads Up Concussion Training
  • National Alliance for Youth Sports : Concussions
  • National Alliance for Youth Sports : Bullying Prevention
  • AYF Safety and Health Training
  • Hawk Tackling Certification from the Seattle Seahawks
  • Football Education Training from American Youth Football

 

Additional Safety Measurers:

  • All NSYFCA coaches, team parents, board members, and coordinators are CPR and First Aid certified
  • All coaches are Cori'd checked
  • All of our coaches have a first aid kit and access to restock ice packs and supplies
  • AED's are on site at our practice locations
  • An EMT is at every game (EMT also carries an AED)
